First Movie was "The Razors Edge" My Father G.B. Davis (Ben and wife
Clarrie) operated the Theatre for the owners and in later years (mid
1950's ) purchased it from them. In the early 1960's the Theatre closed
for a while due to the impact of TV which was introduced in Nfld in
Sept 1955. It later opened again and did very well as the people again
become interested in going out to a movie. The Davis family operated
the BOND THEATRE for many years and finally closed its doors in the mid
